MUSIC PARENTS ASSOCIATION IS BLOOMING AND GOING GREEN!
The Seekonk
Music Parents Association is sponsoring a spring fundraiser that will
take place Jan 22nd and run through the end of April. If you enjoy flowers
and gardening, or just want to see some sights of warm weather, please check
out this fundraiser. All products are 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed
and are shipped to the door! This is also a great time to think about
mother's day, father's day, religious holidays and graduation. It's
also the perfect way to send a birthday gift.

The Seekonk Music parents Assoc. is looking for 2-4 people to serve as fund-raising coordinators for next year. If you are considering serving in one of these positions, let us know so that we can have you work with the members currently serving in those positions during this year.
Announcements Week of 3/8/10 Next Jazz Band rehearsal will be on Monday, March 8th from 6-8 PM. We will be rehearsing with students from HMS, all need to attend. All rehearsals are on Mondays from 6-8 PM. Upcoming events: Feb. 10th- Hurley Middle School Concert Rescheduled to March 10th Students going to the Boston Symphony concert on Sat. March 13 should meet at 5:30 p.m. in the SHS parking lot outside of the Band room.
Sunday, March 14th- HMS Jazz Dinner report at Hurley Middle School at 3:00 p.m.
Congratulations to Allison Cote and Victoria Luizzi who were selected to play with the All-State Orchestra and Dylan Marshall who will play with the All-State Band. They will be performing with these groups at Boston's Symphony Hall on March 20, 2010.
Click on the "Band Photo Gallery" link to the left for some trip pictures. Please bring in some of your pictures on a zip drive or CD so that we can load them onto the music room computer and share the memories.
Thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help out at the stadium. It is, by far, the most important fund-raising we do for the band program all year. If you are interested in helping as Fund-raising Coordintor(s) for next year, please let Mr. Smialek or Kathy Mussig know ASAP.
